There's a lot of fail on all sides, people crying "Why can't you all just get allllonnnng?", and a great deal of mudslinging and cries of being "Undemocratic", and lots of panic and amusing headlines.

Seriously though, I'm going to go read The Hound of the Baskervilles.

New Hobby! Saying things as if they were a continuation of a previous conversation even though they're really not.

Yeah, I totally agree; there really needs to be more insane well-dressed penguins with guns.

Dammit, alarm clock!

I wanted to know if we managed that maneuver. Now I'll never find out.

Few things. First, my sister (B) just called to ask the distance between London and Bath, and the speed at which a horse and carriage travels (presumably to figure out how long it would take a horse and carriage to get to Bath from London or vice versa, but why she needs to know that I have no idea).

Second, I'm taking a summer class and it is actually pretty interesting. The instructor is a little cute in a nerdy sort of way, but I think he's older than he looks.

Thirdly, I'm re-reading Harry Potter. Again. Starting from the fifth, hoping to finish with the fourth. Don't ask why, I haven't read the books in order for ages.

Fourthly, Cid finally lent me Metal Gear Solid. I had forgot how much I hate sneaking in video games. Is it really worth getting though the first game for character interactions in the third?

Fifthly, WALL-E was made of awesome and I kind of want to see it again.

Things I will not do at the wedding this summer:

1) I will not dress all in black and act as if it was a funeral.

2) A wedding cake may be a cake, but that does not mean I can eat all of it.

3) "Or forever hold your peace..." is not an invitation to stand up and shout "I object!" for no other reason except comedic and/or dramatic effect. ( Read more... )

I had a really weird day. Got up, went to school, assembly was canceled due to charity event. 'Kay, took the free spare. Then went to my first class, where Ms.V wasn't there, and we were informed of her dad dying, so we made a card and everything only to find out it was only a minor flu and he wasn't dead at all, so we destroyed the card. Somehow ended up being the only one in class, so read a weirdo fanfic about Booster and Beetle going to Ponyland. Had a spare after that, but upon discovering half-way through that my laptop had run out of batteries, I posted a sign on the Lounge door which read:

"Congrats! You just lost the game. <3"

I'm a jerk like that. And I was bored. Then had lunch, and went to my second class, which nobody turned up for so Mr.H just told me I could go, and since I had a spare last period I just went home (but only after Mr.H destroyed his own student's science projects). Then went shopping and got prom dress.
