Okay, so I saw American Dreamz. It was pretty good.
So, a short review. I've never seen a single episode of American Idol, or its spinoffs, so I think I missed a "few" jokes. But that's okay. I did get most of the other pop-culture references, one of which I liked a lot. The President was very amusing. His timing was great, and with William Defoe as his "aid" it was better. The Terrorists were okay, and were pretty amusing a lot of the time, if only because they acted really well as the stereotypical "terrorist". Omar was great, I really liked his performance. Even the blonde chick wasn't not-funny as I expected. Hugh Grant was pretty good.
As for the plot, it was simple-ish, but meant to be, and was corny, but meant to be. There was a couple of surprise twists at the end, and I couldn't help feeling a bit of suspence.
So all and all, pretty good. Not frikken amazing, but pretty good.
PS: I'm trying to use these "tags" things.
PPS: I bought Bleach #8.
