Tendonitis very slowly getting better.

Things I have done in past week:

- 'rescued' Woodpecker (northern flicker) (quotations because it didn't exactly survive)
- Met deaf puppy (adorable)
- saw Star Trek again
- Infuriated Sister
- Watched some Supernatural (don't ask), TNG, Leverage, Veronica Mars and half an episode of Smallville (I really should just skip all the bits that don't have a Luthor on screen)
- Caught up on Batman: The Brave and the Bold
- Discovered I like record players
- Had a dream involving LittleBigPlanet and a really scary spider
- Picked up new issues of Booster Gold and Secret six. Really good.

I haven't been as active lately because typing wears down my wrists the fastest.

My cat is generally a good natured cat. She just loves humans. She grumbles when you pick her up against her will, but she's pretty good about most things. She doesn't really like other animals, though, but she's getting used to dogs as long as they don't bother her.

Now dad's friend left his little dog over a couple of weeks ago, and they got along okay, and it worked out pretty well, so this week he left her over again.
This morning, kitty seemed to want something.

A bit ago I found the dog was unusually playful, so we ran about a bit, and out of cat's eyesight, I tripped and scraped my ship. All of a sudden she runs over and starts attacking the dog. Me, not knowing what to do, tried to separate the two.

Now I have a cat that's extremely grumpy, a dog that won't go closer to her than across the room, bleeding underneath one of my fingernails, a vivid bite mark, and a good supply of cotton balls and alchohol nearby.
