This old lady just wouldn't stop staring at me today when I was on my way home. Swear to god, I was creeped out. This is the second time Old People have stared at me without looking away in recent weeks. I'd ask if it is because of my appearance, but that is probably it. Oh well.

And thanks to a Secret today, I have made a fan comm for Batman: the Brave and the Bold: b_batb, continuing my proud tradition of "If I can't find something, I'll make one for myself". No really. That's why my school had a book club, and that explains about 3/4ths of my fanfics.

I had a dream that I got my icons back. No, I'm not even joking. O.o

Really really nice day today. Had lunch outside, ate some ice cream. Hung out with friends. Ah, it was lovely. ♥

So I went to the video store to rent Wonder Woman, but they didn't have it to rent. For some reason (and I have no idea why - god knows) they had to buy even if I couldn't rent it. I forgot my wallet, but Cid came through, and I made the jump.

It was worth it.

It was good! It was funny too. And Wondy was badass. I think it was a really good distillation of the whole Wondy mythos. I don't really feel like going into detail right now. But I would heartily recommend it.

Also! There was a Fantasio related secret today. Arrrrgh.

The new doctor's been announced and there's already a wank report. Go figure.

Meanwhile, I found this neat little community called metafandom. I find this sort of discussion absolutely fascinating (it makes me want to write that essay about Transformers animated, especially now that I've seen both seasons so I can actually talk about it). There's a few links they've collected about the recent casting decision of the Avatar movie (as in - "Let's make a decidedly non-European cartoon be a completely whitewashed movie! THIS ISN'T RACIST AT ALL, HONEST. I'm going to agree with the people calling bullshit on this one).

I was watching Merlin today. It's... odd? I just have to put all my knowledge of Arthurian Legends into a little box in my brain and pretend that all they share are the names and I'm free to enjoy the show. I do enjoy it, though. But note that I also never claim to have high standards.

Zeal linked me to Gunnerkrigg Court. It seems like a fun webcomic. Okay, so I read eight chapters after finding it... I do like it.

I updated my comic twice again. To be fair, I drew this morning's comic last night, but did the speech bubbles this morning. ANYWAY. One name down... Two names down... And there! Everybody is finally named.

I've been making a new Mood Theme, and I finally have enough moods to use it. =D

I still don't have a lot of the subcategories, so I thought I'd play it by ear - instead of doing all the emotions at once, I'll do them at necessity.

Now to change my layout...

So I, in my infinite wisdom, was checking my own profile for something that I promptly forgot, and discovered, to my amazement, that there are three users listed as "friends" that I was not aware of obtaining. (Although jezebelspirit is vermicious_nat, so I have since rectified the situation) touch_of_grey37 is a fellow member of s_d, I think, so that makes sense, I guess. I have no idea where ariotstorm came from. I am very weirded out.

I've also decided, for the time being, that my lj titles will be two (or more) alliterated words. I'm not sure how long this will last, but it does help me think of titles for my entries. (My old entries will stay the same, mostly because I hate erasing history.)

I think I might use parenthesis wrong.
