I got a volume of Princess Tutu today, and was all excited because I thought I'd finally finished my collection. I get home, open it, go to put it in my dvd player, all excited to finally watch the Femio episode again and - hey wait? Femio was season two. Disc three is season one. It was volume 4 I was missing, not 3.
I am an idiot.
In other news, I got no work done today, but I did more about Wales than I ever knew before.
Am I the only one who wants to see a Jonathan Coulton - Weird Al collaboration?

I think my radio has a sense of humour.
Werewolves are just so cute! I love them (this is what happens when you introduce a Lupin fan to the Buffy episode "Phases"). I've been watching Buffy with my dad, who surprisingly enjoys it.
I bought some surprisingly expensive paint today, but I don't have time to exchange it before class tomorrow. I'm sorry! I didn't realize how much it added up to! Luckily, it is supposed to be really good quality (I'm talking Golden, by the way).

Dammit, radio! Stop waking me up with "Human"! What does "Are we human, or are we dancer?" even MEAN anyway? God, when I first heard the lyrics (somebody told them to me) I thought it was some song by some girly J-pop group trying to sing in English and instead they ended up with badly pronounced Engrish translated by Babelfish. And now I have it stuck in my head, which is hilarious in a trainwreck sort of way. It is catchy, however.
On the subject of music, I realized yesterday that despite the subject matter, "Suicide is Painless" never fails to cheer me up. Oh M*A*S*H, I love you. That was the best scene in the Movie, by the way. The game of life is hard to play...
Random note! There doesn't seem to be any parents in Woosterverse. Just aunts. And the occasional uncle or cousin.

Sometimes I think that songs should be titled after whatever their most ear-wormy lyric is. For example, the "Yellow Submarine" is doing this right. But the new weirdo Killers song should really be titled "Dancer" instead of "Human". Or possibly "Are you Dancer?", at least then it would be truth in advertising. And yes, I only say this so that I can look up the song immediately rather than taking a roundabout way involving looking for lyrics to find out the song title.
My ability to spill paint, drop things, and cause general destruction in Drawing class is seriously becoming a bother. At least I just dropped the water and not the pallet. Last semester I spilled half my ink twice in a roll. SIGH. Although, the other day I broke a plate by dropping a glass on it, so maybe it's just me.
I think I did discover today that I like Dramatic Sprinting. I'm perfecting the art of sliding sideways to go around corners. DRAMATICALLY sliding sideways.

The project I was talking about yesterday? Yeah, I left it on the table when I left for class this morning. Luckily, my prof was very understanding, which is strange since she's supposed to be an Art Director, and they're not supposed to be understanding.
I'm not entirely sure why I'm listening to the Village People, but I feel like bursting into spontaneous dancing. I get the impression that this is the entire point of the Village People.
Today's page is up. Who saw this coming? Fess up. I did it on my laptop, but the internet wasn't working so I had to transport it to Chii with my usb, so no - I'm not going to fix that typo.

I remembered why I love Kid Devil so much. Man, I miss reading Teen Titans. Then I remember the train wreck that McKeever's made of it - it's worse than New X-men post HoM, unless you count dead characters. So I miss reading Teen Titans during the first few issues post One Year Later. But mostly I miss Kid Devil. And Miss Martian. Can we have John Rogers writing Teen Titans now, please? ....Please? I'll - I'll wait. I'll wait forever if I have to. Because... Okay, nobody's going to get this reference (I love you, Cardcaptor Sakura).
Also! Listening to Jonathan Coulton songs on his website because I am not internet savvy enough to figure out how to download them. Tom Cruise Crazy is great. Some songs I don't like, but here's my favorites (in no particular order): Tom Cruise Crazy, Skullcrusher Mountain, the Presidents, I Hate California, Someone is Crazy, re: Your Brains (absolutely hilarious), and Code Monkey.
I feel like updating my fanfics, but all word counts during this month have to go to my nano. Maybe if I write a couple thousand and get ahead of the game...

Y'know, if I wasn't so not computer savvy (coming from the girl who told her first comp it didn't have a harddrive and shut it down completely at two), I'd probably be downloading some Jonathan Coulton songs right about now.
Just sayin'.

Out of artistic interest, I checked out James Jean (who does the Fables covers).
Now, go to his website.
Click on Info. Then Biography.
Well played, Mr. Jean, well played.
PS: I bought the Coldplay cd. I think that brings the total of non-soundtrack cds I own up to three or four. Don't judge me.
PPS: I forgot how much I like Sherlock Holmes.

So two dreams. The first involved these little people in little cars. One of them wasn't in a car and he had this spider-like object thingy that would react to his desires, right? Like if he was feeling cold it would warm him up. So this other little person comes up and he says hello to the first dude, who's spider-thing instinctively covers the dude's crotch. And first dude is like "eek!" and runs away to his car. So second dude keeps driving but another car sends him off the road, and he falls in the water by the beach (that's where they were the whole time, honest). And First!dude goes to save him only he's allergic to sand (meanwhile, in the future, other dude's going "You're allergic to sand?"). And yeah.
The second one involved this male version of Poison Ivy drilling a hole in her head so he could be the sole plant-villain (and Dream!Me is watching this and going, "Dammit, treat female characters better!") then he runs away in a plant-version of Dr. Evil's phallic spaceship from Austin Powers.
Then Coldplay woke me up. And I listened to it and realized that I actually like Coldplay?

Adagio for Strings is one of the saddest songs in the world.
History Boys: still gay Good movie, but really, really gay (seriously, it's one of the main themes).
I have an exam on Friday, and the Golden Compass comes out midnight on Thursday. Argh. My one exam on the one day I needed to have off. So conflicted.

DS situation: Animal Crossing (I still don't have a Friend's Code. :/), and Bust a Move (cutest. game. ever.)
And some of you *koffbrittkoffkoff* might be shocked to hear I actually bought a cd. Not a soundtrack. I was in HMV and they were playing that so I asked (well, -I- didn't ask, I still need need to actually be able to ask people about stuff), and they showed me the cd. It's some cd by some chick called Regina Spektor, called "begin to hope".
So I bought a cd. Yeah. >.> <.<
I also got Bleach #12. Wow. just. Wow.
And I'm -officially- out of school! Booyah!

I say seriously way too much for someone who has a "serious sirius" icon.
Anyway, not the point. I animated my first thing in flash, but somethings wrong with it. @.@
And I'm listening to the Corpse Bride music. Did you know you can play the entire movie (I think) with only music? I'm not watching it, but I can listen to it. No sounds, no speaking, not even singing. Just the music. It's interesting because you notice little things about the way characters are portrayed. Oh, but when he plays the piano it counts.
I played a bit of Tales of Symphonia... and got stuck in exactly the same place as before. *le sigh*
I scheduled a hair appointment, which means dad did the talking and I nodded or said "ok", and I already forgot when it is. ^^;;;;;
Go figure.
And the oscar nominees are "Corpse Bride", "Howl's Moving Castle" (nobody listened to me when I said it was going to be nominated, so let me take the time to say "I told you so"), and "Wallace and Gromit". AKA, I love all three movies so I dunno which one to cheer on....?
First day into my long weekend and I'm already bored. I've read Death Note twice. Maybe I should go buy the next one...
